AboutBrazin’ Hussies has evolved from copper sculpture and fountain work to fully sculpted architectural elements such as column wraps and caps, door and glass trim, custom roof and wall shingles, and every conceivable form of metal art integrated as wall coverings, trim details, lighting fixtures and range hoods. Kathy specializes in transforming copper and zinc by hammering, bending, and patinas for a full range of color, reflectivity, and dimensional effects. Her welding skills and tools also allow her to work steel, stainless steel, and bronze into her projects, often as the armature for larger pieces. Her work is indeed brazen and unlike any other metalwork in architecture today. |
